It is not about the results you are bringing, but how you’re bringing them. Are the results sustainable in the long term? Are people growing with the company? Are we learning as we go? These are the things I value most.

Legal, Comms, and ESG

Craig Allwright has been part of OLX’s leadership team since 2013, joining at the beginning of our classifieds business and growing alongside the company’s global expansion. He started leading M&A, legal and ethics, and progressively expanded his scope to include ESG and Communications – key business enablers. Craig has shaped our governance practices from startup foundations to robust frameworks that support our business across global markets.

Craig brings broad experience from major international law firms across three continents, covering tax, M&A and civil litigation. He also sits on the board of Dubizzle Group, helping align legal foundations and ethical practice with long-term business goals.

I am a passionate advocate for doing the right thing and building the best, most sustainable business we can be. For me, ESG is not about politics or platitudes—it’s simply our license to operate in today’s world. Strong legal foundations and ethical business practices are not just compliance requirements; they build trust with our customers, communities, and partners. We can only succeed if people trust us and want to deal with us.
